Founders Brian and Pin Chanthapanya, with the vision of bringing Portuguese doughnuts, Malasadas, to the East Coast, open their second pop-up in Union Market located in D.C. Instead of using custards and jellies to fill their doughnuts, they opted for pastry and chantilly cremes, as well as cream cheese based fillings. Their ingredients are fresh and preservative free.
