Chef Haidar Karoum, formerly the executive chef at Proof, Estadio and Doi Moi, opened his first solo restaurant project, Chloe, in The Yards neighborhood. The name is inspired by both Karoum’s eldest niece and the ancient Greek goddess of agriculture. The restaurant features modern American dishes with international influences; menu items include classic roast chicken and crispy whole fish with lime, chilies and fragrant herbs, plus pastas like bavette with little neck clams. The beverage list features both domestic and international wine, as well as a beer and cocktail selection leaning heavily on local brewers and distillers. The 103-seat space features counter seating for 14 at an open kitchen with another 27 in the bar. A 32-seat patio will be open during warm weather months. Chloe is open for dinner seven days a week with weekday lunch and weekend brunch service.
