Continental owner Curt Large and Top Chef alum Marjorie Meek-Bradley (Smoked & Stacked founder) open a new beer garden in D.C. later this summer as Meek-Bradley develops the menu focusing on various sausage items such as pigs in a blanket and brats with sauerkraut. The menu features tangy beer cheese with crackers, kale and artichoke dip with fresh vegetables, a classic half-smoke with grilled onions and cheese on a pretzel roll, grilled cheese, pulled pork, and skewered meats on top of a basil quinoa salad. The drink menu includes brew ranging from Virginia to German brews served in pint sizes or by the pitcher, as well as other select wines and a boozy slushy machine. The beer garden is open from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day excluding Mondays.
