Strictly Sober- Rare Steakhouse is a perfect fit for those trying to completely abstain from all alcohol this new year. The bar manager, Chelsea Wood, has carefully curated a slew of non-alcoholic drinks. Guest can choose to sip on the Virgin Bloody Mary or the Rosemary Sparkler; with flavors of mint, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and orange juice.
Mocktail Madness- All-Purpose's capitol riverfront location is officially serving up a "Dry January Mocktails" menu. Infused with fresh ingredients and spices, these sips are sure to be just as fun for adults. This new menu includes the renowned Ace Punch, an orange and carrot punch with apple, lemon, pear, and nutmeg.
A Boost Without The Booze- Following the nonalcoholic trend, Compass Rose has debuted their "Boost Without The Booze" menu. Guests will have the opportunity to savor mocktails like the Maple Carrot Mule; full of carrot, turmeric, maple, and ginger beer.
Zero-Proof- At Ocean Prime, it doesn't have to be January to sip from their Zero-Proof menu. Hits from the menu range from the Lavender Citrus Soda, with lime, rosemary, and lavender soda to the Rhubarb Soda with homemade grenadine and lemon juice.
Healthy Eats & Sips- To transition into DC's healthiest food & drink, O-Ku D.C is perfect for those in dire need of a healthy mocktail and sashimi. Guests can enjoy the Lotus, a nonalcoholic cocktail with strawberry-hibiscus soda, lemon juice, and a garnish of mint sprig. This intricate drink uses osmosis so that the sugar absorbs water from the fruit and other molecules associated with that strawberry flavor. In terms of food, guests have the opportunity to munch on traditional sushi dishes; always low-calorie, high protein.
New Beginnings- Upon first glance, Burger, Tap & Shake may not seem appealing to dieters. However, they have just added the Impossible Burger to their menu. For those who aren't aware, this burger tastes exactly like meat but is made 100% from plant-based products, a great, healthier alternative to a traditional burger.
Vegan Ventures- Toki Underground, a DC-based ramen house, has recently debuted their Vegan Ramen bowl. Steering clear of a meaty broth, this health-conscious dish is full of charred root vegetables, kelp, garlic, lemongrass, and soy. With vegan noodles and the option to switch to gluten-free, the bowl is finished off with fried tofu, mushrooms, turmeric, daikon, and locally sourced pickles.

Renowned for their use of locally-sourced ingredients, guests can choose from their array of hummus bowls, pita sandwiches, and seasonal salads. This DC-based spot offers a completely vegetarian and gluten-free menu with classics like the Roasted Butternut Squash Taco with goat cheese, caramelized onions, chipotle yogurt & mint and the Citrus Roasted Beet Taco with ricotta salata, cilantro-lime yogurt & fresh jalapeño. If the veggies weren't enough, it gets even healthier with their on-tap Seasonal Shrubs; ranging from the Lemon Ginger to the Vanilla Pear.

Whether it is the Eggplant Nigyzit, filled with hearty walnut garlic paste and walnut vegetable paste, or the Grilled Bostneuli Platter with asparagus, fennel, potatoes, zucchini, eggplant, carrot-cucumber-feta salad, and tkemali, these dishes are sure to please.
