After being closed for renovations in early 2011, the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel’s Edgar Bar and Kitchen has officially reopened. Famously known for being J. Edgar Hoover’s daily lunch spot, the Mayflower hopes the newly updated restaurant will, once again, be the spot to “see and be seen”. The new space features marble bar tops and subway tiles throughout its two dining rooms, bar area, reading room, and private dining room. Andrew Morrison, formerly of Fairmont, serves as Edgar’s executive chef and prepares delicious European/ American cuisine. To make a reservation, click here.
