Tax Relief Wine Special At The Grill Room

The Grill Room is pleased to debut its tax relief wine special beginning on Tax Day, April 18th, through the end of April. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Télégramme by Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe, a standout wine from Châteauneuf du Pape in Southern Rhone, for a special discounted price. Normally $25 a glass and $98 a bottle, this delicious wine will be priced at $15 a glass and $60 a bottle. 13 Weeks And Counting Until The RAMMY Awards

At the upcoming 2017 RAMMY Awards on July 30, Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) will honor and award the exceptional ability and accomplishments of the hard-working individuals and organizations of the region’s restaurants and foodservice community. Finalist selection involves two esteemed groups, the voting public and an anonymous panel of volunteer judges, consisting of food and dining journalists, educators and foodservice industry professionals. The voting public will decide the winners in four categories. The finalists for “Favorite Gathering Place of the Year” are Brookland’s Finest Bar & Kitchen, The Front Porch at Evening Star Cafe, Lauriol Plaza, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, and Petworth Citizen & Reading Room. For “Upscale Brunch of the Year”, finalists include Convivial, Del Campo, Marcel’s by Robert Wiedmaier, The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm, and The Source by Wolfgang Puck. For “Casual Brunch of the Year”, look out for Cava Mezze- Capitol Hill, DGS Delicatessen, Maketto, Republic, and Sixth Engine. Lastly, for Favorite Fast Bites of the Year, the finalists are Beefsteak, Cava Grill, Chase the Submarine, G by Mike Isabella, and Taco Bamba Taqueria. Votes for these categories can be cast online through May 31 at 5:00 p.m. by clicking here. RAMW also awards the Joan Hisaoka Allied Member of the Year, presented to an allied member who best exemplifies commitment to and support of RAMW.
