Croissant Baking Class At Little Bits

Second Annual DC Bike Ride

DC Bike Ride, the region’s premier scenic urban bike ride, has announced its entertainment lineup for the Finish Line Festival and on-course performances! Ride participants will rock out to stellar local bands, spin master DJs and headline act, international hip-hop star Biz Markie! After departing West Potomac Park (the new start location in 2017), riders will approach mile 2.5 and enjoy the Eastern Senior High Drumline. Up next, the Dupont Brass Band, founded by Howard University music majors, will keep the good vibes going with their eclectic, soulful sound at miles 5.75 and 7.25.  The second half of the course will feature Red Bull’s MXT DJ Truck at mile 15 and renowned all-women Afro-Brazilian percussion band, Batalá, at mile 18. The Finish Festival, which will kick-off at 9:30 am and continue through 1:00 pm, will be located on Pennsylvania Avenue between 6th St. NW and 7th St. NW. Urbana has celebrated the Italian and Mediterranean cultures since its opening in 2006.
