Italian Dinner Parties At Via Umbria

Each week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, Via Umbria hosts intimate Italian dinner parties in their demonstration kitchen where you are seated around a community table and can interact with the chef throughout the meal. Chilean Pisco Tasting At Grand Cata

Get Lei’d Aloha Fridays At Hula Girl Bar And Grill

At Hula Girl Bar and Grill located at the Village at Shirlington, the Hawaiian Happy Hour conjures a tropical vacation scenario everyday. An array of beers from sunny Hawaii, wines and classic and tropical drinks including Hula Girl Punch—a island-style concoction of coconut rum and tropical juices at special prices as well as an array of dishes including the Hula Girl Pu-Pu Platter–spam musubi, root-beer ribs, edamame and crispy gau chee; Katsu Spam Musubi with panko crust, spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce; Burger & Brew—a Hula Girl Burger with caramelized onions and a Kona draft; Maui onion rings with spicy mayo dipping sauce; sea-salted hand cut French fries; Ahi Poke; all evoke that tropical vacation feeling. Washington DC’s bustling brasserie will cool down 14th street with delightful glace and sorbet flavors such as avocado-banana, chocolate-hazelnut, pistachio, and blood peach. There is nothing that screams summer more than a double scoop of cool, creamy ice cream melting down a sprinkles-covered cone on a balmy, sun-kissed day. Cue Le Diplomate’s Les Glacés de Diplomate summer ice cream cart, Pastry Chef Fabrice Bendano’s traditional Parisian, vintage inspired tricycle glace and sorbet cart. Les Glacés de Diplomate is the creation of Parisian-born Le Diplomate pastry chef Fabrice Bendano, trained in the classic art of French pastry and internationally lauded for his development of pastry programs in Michelin starred kitchens including the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London and the Michelin-starred Taillevent in Paris before winning the “Pastry Chef of the Year” RAMW RAMMY Award for his work at Alain Ducasse’s Adour. Opening weekend Glacés de Diplomate will be featuring, Huile d’olive, Pistache, Banane, Passion Sorbet, and Framboise sorbet. 11:00 AM to close.
