36th Annual Vintage Virginia Wine Festival

Vintage Virginia, a great summer tradition, is a must see for everyone from newbies to foodies. There will be over 250 different wines from 25 + Virginia wineries. More than just a wine tasting, the festival will again bring together artisanal craftsmen, culinary pioneers, fantastic music, as well as wine from the top Virginia wine producers. You will be able to sample all of the varieties as well as purchase them by the glass and the bottle, on-site at special event-only low prices. Food trucks include County Manners, Norton’s Italian Ice, Pasta La Vista and Red Hook Lobster Pound. VIP Food section includes The Ashby Inn & Restaurant, Hard Times Café, International Cheese tastings and Summer Fruit Station. New this year is the Top 5 tasting seminars for red wines, white wines and sweet wines. Seminars are included in the VIP package, but seating is on a first come basis. Saturday June 3 only, the Reston Limousine buses will be picking up from popular bars and restaurants listed on the event site. General Admission One Day Pass for $30 in advance/$35 onsite. VIP Admission One Day Pass for Saturday or Sunday $49 advance/$55 onsite. Great Grapes! has grown to be Baltimore’s premier casual Maryland wine festival with hundreds of wines available for tasting. Hundreds of thousands of guests have enjoyed the festival as an escape from the urban jungle. Take your souvenir tasting glass as you enter the festival and stroll from tent to tent and table to table tasting and sampling the rich heritage of Maryland vines. As you sip and savor the afternoon, relax in the beautiful setting of the Oregon Ridge Park. Enjoy 220+ wines from 25+ wineries, great live music from Johnny & The GI’s and the Earth Wind & Fire tribute band, fun festival eats, arts and crafts, gourmet items, and a free kids area. The VIP ticket option offers you an elevated experience. Enjoy a souvenir glass and bag, access to all the show tastings plus access to the VIP tent area which features specialty wine selections not available elsewhere, free water and soft drinks and featured food tastings.  Advance VIP admission $56. Advance adult ticket $29. Advance 2-day VIP admission $79. Kids 12 and under are free. Saturday Happy Hour At Policy Restaurant

Policy Restaurant & Lounge has launched a new Saturday Happy Hour. Drinks wise – beer starts at $4.50, wines at $5.50, and cocktails at $6.50.
