36th Annual Vintage Virginia Wine Festival

Vintage Virginia, a great summer tradition, is a must see for everyone from newbies to foodies. There will be over 250 different wines from 25 + Virginia wineries. More than just a wine tasting, the festival will again bring together artisanal craftsmen, culinary pioneers, fantastic music, as well as wine from the top Virginia wine producers. You will be able to sample all of the varieties as well as purchase them by the glass and the bottle, on-site at special event-only low prices. Food trucks include County Manners, Norton’s Italian Ice, Pasta La Vista and Red Hook Lobster Pound. VIP Food section includes The Ashby Inn & Restaurant, Hard Times Café, International Cheese tastings and Summer Fruit Station. New this year is the Top 5 tasting seminars for red wines, white wines and sweet wines. Seminars are included in the VIP package, but seating is on a first come basis. Saturday June 3 only, the Reston Limousine buses will be picking up from popular bars and restaurants listed on the event site. Great Grapes! Wine And Food Festival

Great Grapes! has grown to be Baltimore’s premier casual Maryland wine festival with hundreds of wines available for tasting. Hundreds of thousands of guests have enjoyed the festival as an escape from the urban jungle. Take your souvenir tasting glass as you enter the festival and stroll from tent to tent and table to table tasting and sampling the rich heritage of Maryland vines. As you sip and savor the afternoon, relax in the beautiful setting of the Oregon Ridge Park. Enjoy 220+ wines from 25+ wineries, great live music from Johnny & The GI’s and the Earth Wind & Fire tribute band, fun festival eats, arts and crafts, gourmet items, and a free kids area. The VIP ticket option offers you an elevated experience. Enjoy a souvenir glass and bag, access to all the show tastings plus access to the VIP tent area which features specialty wine selections not available elsewhere, free water and soft drinks and featured food tastings.  Advance VIP admission $56. Brunch With Allagash & Burial At Pizzeria Paradiso

Join Pizzeria Paradiso as they host their annual post-SAVOR brunch in partnership with Allagash & Burial. Drafts will be available from both breweries, including Allagash’s Windfall, Ganache and Little Brett, and Burial’s Surf Wax IPA, Skillet and Fall of the Damned. Additionally, Pizzeria Paradiso chef/owner Ruth Gresser will create two special breakfast pizzas: a savory pizza with chorizo, egg and black bean, and a sweet pizza made with chocolate and raspberry sauce. RdV “Celebrate Virginia” Wine Tasting Series

In honor of Thomas Jefferson’s birthday (April 13th), RdV’s “Celebrate Virginia” wine tasting will showcase some of the finest wines being made in Jefferson’s home state of Virginia (including RdV’s award-winning Rendezvous), thoughtfully paired with some of Virginia’s best cheeses and charcuterie. Beginning on Sunday, April 9th and continuing every Sunday throughout the summer, the “Celebrate Virginia” tasting will be available in two separate reservations on Sundays: 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. The seated tasting will offer four different Virginia wines on a rotating and varying schedule, so each one will be a unique experience for guests.
