Chef Will Artley will be ‘popping up’ again with chefs Christophe and Michelle Poteaux at Bastille restaurant offering a prix fixe five-course tasting menu. Chef Artley’s menu will be available along with Bastille’s standard seasonal menus. Chef will be ‘in residence’ at Bastille throughout the ‘pop-up.’ The ‘pop-up’ menu will reflect the style of Artley’s new restaurant affiliation, Scotts Restaurant, Bar & Cask Club, a “British Brasserie,” slated to open in Downtown DC this coming fall. The five-course menu will include tuna tartare with smoked balsamic, beets and sesame; popcorn Vichyssoise with smoked crab and  charred avocado; sea scallops with cauliflower silk and raisin-eggplant jam; Onglet with mushroom fricassee; and for  dessert,  chocolate royale–Valrhona truffle cake with salted caramel, hazelnuts and Valrhona chocolate ice cream.
