Pastry Chef Fabrice will be sharing roses with all Valentine’s guests at Le Diplomate… in the form of macarons. Complimentary rose macarons are among the celebrations at the 14th Street brasserie this Valentine’s Day. Le Diplomate will be offering a loving portion of Beef Rossini with pommes fondue, and sauce Bordelaise ($38) and Butter Poached Lobster with a vanilla salsify. Guests may also skip the February 14th rush and join Le Diplomate on February 13th for a special Lobster Risotto plat du jour. Pastry chef Fabrice Bendano, will be bringing hearts together with 1/2 hearts (2 each) of chocolate sponge with cremeaux of chocolate passionfruit and almond dacquoise with vanilla ice cream and raspberry marmalade. 1601 14th Street NW.
