2015 JBF Rising Star Chef nominee Erik Bruner-Yang returns to the Beard House alongside a stellar team from across his D.C. restaurants, including superstar pastry chef Pichet Ong. Other D.C. chefs in attendance will include Matthew Crowley from Spoken English, and Ewa Fraszczyk and Todd Thrasher from Brothers and Sisters. Taking cues from the intimate, communal Spoken English and the globally-inspired Brothers and Sisters, this dinner will go beyond Asian Fusion to celebrate the global flavors and cultures that have inspired Bruner-Yang’s success and acclaim. Some hors-d’oeuvres menu items include Taiwanese fried chicken, chicken-skin dumplings, and maitake mushrooms with pine oil.
