If you want to truly understand what it is like to be Umbrian, join in welcoming Federico Bibi to Via Umbria for this delicious Umbrian Wine Dinner. Italian winemaker Federico Bibi of the Terre Margaritelli Winery, will be pairing up with Via Umbria’s Chef Liam to create a menu that epitomizes La Cucina Umbra while celebrating the Cherry Blossoms of Washington DC. Federico lives and breathes Umbria and will pass this passion on to you as you enjoy their famed food and drink. You will be joined at every course for a description of each dish–feel free to ask questions. Some menu items include spring vegetable bruschetta with Caprino cheese and olio Santo; juniper and rosemary smoked lamb loin with pecorino Sformato, spring vegetable ragu and marasca cherry roasting jus.
