This week's Foodie & The Beast kicked off with chef David Gaus, owner of Bayou Bakery and Lil' B's, joining David in hosting while Nycci's was out to play in New Orleans. First up on the show were two mad scientists Alex Laufer and Stephen Corrigan from One Eight Distilling, talking about their special techniques that take their products from grain to glass. Jim McWhorter on the board and Julia Feder the new executive director of Fresh Farm Markets were up talking about the markets. Next up was former Cafè Leopold's executive chef Joel Hatton, who has recently taken over the kitchen at CafèSaint-Ex talking about some exciting renovations and a new brunch menu. Last but not least was the founder and general manager of 1986 Whiskey Bar, Dan Patrizio with talk and tastes of whiskey driven cocktails. To listen to the whole show, please click here.
