This week on Foodie & The Beast we had a another Sunday with a full studio. Snow cone cocktails, cider, summer salads and spice blends. Sam Fitz and Gregory Johnson poured us taste three different ciders featured at ANXO that are made from apples. Gina Chersevani came in to share her unique cocktails from Buffalo and Bergen, featured at the new National Harbor Dome Summer Snow Globe. The snow cone cocktails fit perfectly with the winter- in- summer theme of the Harbor Dome. Chef William McCormack and general manager Chris Vizas of Dean & Deluca stopped by to make us a fresh orzo salad and share their new outlook on wellness, it was healthy AND delicious. Simran Sethi from Choolah Indian BBQ, tested our spice knowledge while we dug into the generous amounts of delicious food she brought in. Chef Jerry Zawacki of Service Bar DC gave us a taste of how he minimizes waste in the kitchen, and the results tasted as good as they looked. To listen to the whole show, please click here.
