This Sunday, we hosted an amazing array of guests in the studio from legendary DC restaurateurs to new, “home run hitters” and more, including Christianne Ricchi, chef/owner of Dupont’s legendary I Ricchi.  Founded in 1989, it’s now entering its fourth decade in business, and Chris is in to discuss how she’s managed to deliver consistently fabulous, Tuscan, cucina rustic dishes to everyone from U.S. presidents, other dignitaries, and regular folks like Foodie and the Beast for so many years; Bettina Stern, co-owner of Chaia, the seasonal vegetable taco company (We first met her two years ago, when Chaia was a new concept being developed; it now has two, VERY successful, brick and mortar locations in DC); French-trained Ricardo Planas, exec chef in charge of all food, beverages and even desserts at The Sally, the new restaurant in the Fairfax at Embassy Row, and last, but hardly least, Vince Tyson and Jamie Imhof from Blackwater Distilling in Stevensville, MD, in with tasty cocktails and samples of everything from Black Betty Vodka, Picarroon Rum and rye whiskeys that are good to sip and will probably put hair on your head or chest (depending on where you want it!)
