GDL by Giada De Laurentiis
Celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, has brought her spin on Italian cuisine to Baltimore with her restaurant GDL Italian with Brian Drosenos as the restaurant’s executive chef. This is her first restaurant on the East Coast, located at the Baltimore Horseshoe Casino. The restaurant a bit different than her first restaurant in Las Vegas, but charcuterie, seafood, fresh pasta and pizza are plying prominent roles and a few favorites from Vegas have made their way onto the menu as well. GDL is also using local ingredients from Baltimore purveyors to incorporate into the dishes. The wine list incorporates a mix of bottles from Italy, California and other regions in the U.S.
