Gyu-Kaku, an innovative Japanese BBQ spot, is now open in Arlington. According to co-owner Pierre Lee, most guests do not know anything about Japanese BBQ, causing most to assume that it is the same as Korean BBQ. However, diners quickly learn about the differences in meat-cuts and portion sizes. Just like in Japan, guests use tongs to cook the meat at on a grill at their tables.
