Massimo Fabbri, the Italian chef who made a name for himself at power dining spot Tosca, is giving neighborhood dining a go with new Tuscan-style restaurant, San Lorenzo, located in the former Thally space in Shaw. Andy Clark, most recently at All-Purpose and Red Hen, is his chef de cuisine.The restaurant serves a selection of seasonal pastas and speciality cocktails, along with a variety of other dishes. Menu items include: guitar-shaped chitarra with garlic-basil tomato sauce. taglierini with morel mushroom ragu and clams, sauteed scallops with pureed fava beans, and a T-bone steak for two.
