Amish Style - BlackSalt Restaurant & Fish Market are taking orders for Fresh Murray’s Turkeys, candied yams and all the fixings of a Thanksgiving dinner along with some Black Restaurant seafood specialties. Popovers And Prime Rib - It’s that time again, and BLT Steak has brought back
their Thanksgiving stuffed popovers - You can choose from a Thanksgiving stuffed popover (this has everything but the kitchen sink), turkey popover (herb roasted turkey, chestnut-sausage stuffing, rosemary gravy) or a prime rib popover (dry aged prime rib, garlic jus, baby arugula). Dominican Flavor - Executive Chef Shannan Troncoso and Chef Inma Bonarelli of Brookland’s Finest are preparing their own family recipes for cakes and pies available for pre-order now. The menu includes a traditional midwestern Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Tres Leches Cake originally made at Chef Inma’s father’s restaurant in the Dominican Republic. Chef Troncoso is making a Red Velvet Cake printed on floral-patterned stationary and the Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie is a combination of Chef Shannan's southern roots (the bourbon and pecans) and Inma’s Dominican heritage, where they add chocolate to pecan pies.
