The Meatball Shop, a New York classic, has expanded to D.C. This new shop is the first location outside of New York City. The Meatball Shop offers five varieties of meatballs, including classic beef, pork, chicken, veggie, and the daily special, all crafted with responsibly sourced ingredients, to pair with house-made sauces: classic tomato, pesto, parmesan cream, spicy meat, and mushroom gravy. Guests can choose if they’d like their meatballs naked with a side, over pasta or veggies,on a Kitchen Sink salad (greens with seasonally
rotating vegetable and grain sides), in a Hero (on a toasted baguette), or a Smash (on a brioche roll with melted mozzarella or provolone!) Their cocktail menu is crafted in house with seasonal ingredients, like the Whack-A-Mole (Hornitos Tequila, lime, pomegranate, and mole), or the Smokin’ in the Boy’s Room (Highland Park Scotch, almond, lemon, walnut liqueur, and nutmeg). The Meatball Shop has a meticulously curated wine list, which includes house red and white, blended by The Meatball Shop experts and their partnered vineyards in France and Italy.
