Michelin has released their newest edition of the MICHELIN®Guide Washington, D.C. 2019, and has added three more star selections to the nation’s capital. They have recognized The Inn at Little Washington as the first D.C.-area restaurant to achieve a three-star award. Additionally, Bresca and Siren by RW also were honored with one-star awards for the first time.

The MICHELIN Guide Washington, D.C.,  also recognized more than 70 restaurants with the Plate symbol, a designation given to restaurants that inspectors recommend to travelers and locals for a good meal with fresh ingredients and capable preparation. 

The 2019 selection includes:

  • One restaurant with three stars
  • Two restaurants with two stars
  • 13 restaurants with one star
  • 39 restaurants with a Bib Gourmand
