Bombay Velvet has officially opened their doors in Reston. Rajiv Chopra, chef and entrepreneur, has crafted a fine dining experience that mirrors authentic Indian cuisine. Upon entry, guests are automatically transported to a diverse world through the simplistic yet royal decor. In the interest of replicating all parts of India, Bombay Velvet’s menu draws influence from the North, South, West, East, and coastal regions. Guests have the opportunity to begin their meal with appetizers like the Dahi Ke Kebab; a subtly spicy patty that is pan fried, made with hung yogurt and then served with a side salad. In terms of entrees, this new concept offers dishes like the Roast Quail Baluchistan; chargrilled quail cream & cheese marinade, finished with quail egg flame with vodka beetroot, onion pickle masala, and butter cilantro cream.
