Momofuku alum, Patrick Curran has been brought in to the lead the kitchen at the Cafe Riggs in the soon to open Riggs Hotel. The hotel, resides in the historic building once home to Riggs National Bank, and will play up the bank theme throughout the property. At Cafe Riggs, Chef Curran will execute an European brasserie-inspired café by day that will transform into a wine bar in the evening. Curran will oversee all culinary operations including the food menu at the Silver Lyan cocktail bar. London-based bartender, Ryan Chetiyawardana, plants his first cocktail bar in the United States at the Riggs Hotel.
