With New Orleans top of mind as Mardi Gras kicks into gear, two authors with ties to the Crescent City come together for a children's book signing and to share through characters about the culture and history of New Orleans. Jeanette Weiland will be signing her Beignets for Breakfast book and Simone Rathlé will be signing her A Topsy-Turvy History of New Orleans & Ten Tiny Turtles book. Books will be sold, and the famous beignets of New Orleans will be served. The Mardi Gras themed signing event is from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
