Valentine's Day at Trummer's @ Trummer’s
This Valentine’s, the newly renovated Trummer’s restaurant in Clifton, Virginia will offer a special weekend-long lunch and dinner menu. The restaurant will offer a four-course prix fixe dinner menu from Chef Jon Cropf and Pastry Chef Meagan Tighe. Utilizing the kitchen’s newly install French rotisserie, guests can enjoy indulgent offerings like a She-Crab Soup with lump crab, aged sherry and chives, Sea Scallops with uni-crab risotto and saffron broth, Lobster and Langoustine Thermador served with bearnaise, lobster velouté and toasted bread crumbs. Third course offerings feature Pork Osso Bucco with cranberry beans, escarole, chili and preserved lemons and Colorado Lamb with fregula, olives, sundried tomatoes, yogurt and basil and Beef Wellington with baby potatoes, grilled romaine and bordelaise. Pastry Chef Meagan Tighe finishes the meal off with options of Cherries Jubilee: morello cherry, kirschwasser, stracciatella, Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese, coconut, chocolate ganache and strawberry or Textures of Chocolate: raspberry sorbet, smoked pecans and dulce de leche. In lieu of weekend brunch, a Valentine’s Day three-course lunch menu will be served featuring many of the special items from the Valentine’s dinner menu. The menu is available for $42 per person.
