The award-winning Blue Duck Tavern will celebrate Cupid’s big day with decadent dishes for sweethearts to enjoy this Valentine’s Day. Jean-Claude Plihon, Blue Duck Tavern director of culinary and food & beverage operations, will present a three-course, prix fixe menu featuring salmon rillettes with cucumber and caviar,Foie Gras Mousse with miso-ginger roasted Jonagold apple and benne seed praline, served with Johnny cakes, smoked duck breast with pink lady apple-sunchoke salad and sunchoke-bacon emulsion, house-made vegetable pot pie with Burgundy black truffle and local Winter farm vegetables, and more. For a romantic finish, couples will enjoy decedent desserts presented by Pastry Chef Colleen Murphy, such as Wild Bergamot & Grapefruit with caramelized honey olive oil cake.
