Longtime Foodie and the Beast friend Paul Dahm, former ED of Brainfood, now is the cofounder of WorkChew, creating coworking spaces in restaurants during off-peak hours. Think: hanging out at Starbucks doing your work, having meetings, etc., but it’s not Starbucks – it’s one of your favorite restaurants! Smart!! A group of women advocates, chefs, restaurant owners, and managers have come together to sponsor a fundraiser – Amazing Women – to raise money for kids locked away at the border and facing a humanitarian crisis. Restaurants from all over DC joined to contribute food and drink to support the July 15 event. Diane Gross, Co-owner, Cork Wine Bar, is the organizer of DC Women CARE and is in with all the details.
