Danny Lledó, world-renowned chef and sommelier, is replacing the second floor and mezzanine level of Slate Wine Bar with a new concept: Xiquet. Drawing inspiration from Lledó’s hometown in Spain, Xiquet will boast an updated decor of warm marble and upholstery while serving up a menu that offers six varieties of paella, suckling pig, steak, and grilled seafood. Located on the second floor of Slate Wine Bar, Xiquet will also display the smokers that are used to cook up each of its dishes. On the mezzanine level, guests can either behind or end their night in the 16-seat lounge area by sipping on a rotating selection of wine, liquor, and cocktails.
