Art in the Burg: Celebrate the Arts 2026

On Saturday, May 9, the Middleburg Arts Council and the Town of Middleburg host Art in the Burg, an annual celebration of the arts held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout downtown Middleburg. The event features more than 40 local and regional artists, plein air painting, strolling musicians, and live performances across multiple town locations. Guests can engage directly with artists while exploring the historic downtown’s shopping and dining offerings. Programming includes performances by Thapasya Bharatanatyam Dance, Jubilee Performing Arts, and the Loudoun Jazz Society, along with the VMFA on the Road Artmobile showcasing works from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. One juried artist will also receive the People’s Choice Award.
