For 33 years, FOOD & WINE has selected the most promising, up-and-coming culinary talent across the country. FOOD & WINE unveiled its 33rd class of Best New Chefs, spotlighting the 11 most promising up-and-coming chefs who are reinventing the restaurant experience with innovative food and leadership styles that are compassionate and community-oriented. This year, two DC Area chefs were inlcuded in the F&W Best New Chefs in America Class of 2021:

*Paola Velez, Bakers Against Racism, Washington, D.C.
