With camp cancelled and the novelty of being home having worn off, Cook Kitz aims to provide kids and parents a moment of culinary escape. From now through mid-August, Cook Kitz will deliver a weekly cooking project to your doorstep. Each kit focuses on a main recipe with “choose-your-own-adventure” elements to encourage culinary imagination and recipe versatility. The Kitz provide a fun activity that is already curated, scripted and measured out. So while parents may have varying levels of involvement, the work of pre-planning, shopping and measuring and the investment is contained and there isn’t a lot of waste sitting on the pantry shelves. Developed by Becca Katz, recent culinary school grad, with help from Prescription Chicken (Val Zweig, owner of Prescription Chicken, is Becca’s sister), Becca and the team are ready to help you and your family get in the kitchen and create. cookkitz.com
