If you know us, you know we love our dogs. In fact, Nycci — the woman behind TheList — proudly calls herself a crazy dog mom. Around here, we don’t need an excuse to celebrate our pups. After all, they’re not just pets, they’re family.

Pro-tip: Bethesda has regular Yappy Hours for you and your furry friend. Held at 4805 Edgemoor Lane, the next one will be on July 9th, followed by September 17th and October 8th. Bethesda Restaurants will be on site at each Yappy Hour, selling food, beer, and wine. Liberty Tavern holds weekly summer yappy hours every Wednesday, with drink specials from 3–6 p.m.
