The Fairmont Hotel: Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is offering Valentine’s Afternoon Tea on Friday, February 13 through Sunday, February 15 in the Loggia overlooking the hotel’s Courtyard.   Valentine’s Afternoon Tea is a wonderful way to spend time with a treasured colleague, friend, sibling, parent or partner. Served from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, guests will enjoy a flute of bubbly Domaine Chandon Rosé and a long stemmed red or pink rose. Executive Chef Jaime Montes de Oca and Executive Pastry Chef Lyndsey Barton collaborated on a delectable menu of savory and sweet delights, including heirloom beet tartare, rose quail egg with truffle, and strawberry rose cheesecake. Zinnia: Taking place in the historic Main Dining Room at Zinnia, Afternoon Tea transports guests to a forgotten time of elegance and grace. Featuring delicate china, decadent three-tiered towers of sweet and savory bites, and a choice of 12 fine teas from American tea blender Harney & Sons, Afternoon Tea is available Saturdays and Sundays, year round.
