In the summer of 1960, brave protestors brought about the end of segregation at the privately-owned Glen Echo Amusement Park. On Saturday, February 7th, in honor of Black History Month, the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture presents two FREE film screenings of Ain't No Back to a Merry-Go-Round, the award-winning documentary by Ilana Trachtman which tells this important story.
Due to limited seating, RSVPs are required for this event. Limited availability is left for the 2:00 p.m. screening; more spots are open for the 11:30 a.m. screening. Please only sign up for one of the two showtimes.
