Bluejacket 6th Anniversary & Double Mexican Radio Release

Come celebrate Bluejacket’s 6th-anniversary party. They'll be tapping a slew of rare kegs, $5 beers, food specials, and of course — the official release of Double Mexican Radio: Bourbon 2019. Their annual barrel-aged anniversary beer, Double Mexican Radio, will be available on draft and in bottles. The 2019 vintage is boldly spiced, with a thick mouthfeel and loads of cocoa character. A blend of Bluejacket's Imperial Sweet Stout base aged for 6 months in their favorite Bourbon barrels, along with some Rye barrels, ‘Double Mexi’ is spiced with cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and ancho chili peppers. In addition to Double Mexican Radio, Bluejacket will also tap 4 of their favorite barrel-aged beers from their cellar — Ten Times The Size of Jupiter, Fantasy Camp, Escape Momentum and Everything In Its Right Place. Executive Chef Marcelle Afram will fire up the outdoor grill with a menu that will include fire-roasted chicken, bone-in short rib, half-smokes, chicken kebabs, boozy burgers and more. There is no admission fee for this event. Bottles of Double Mexican Radio: Bourbon 2019 will be available for $18 per bottle, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the bottle shop.
