Capital Wine School - WSET Level I Award in Sake with Caroline Hermann MW – In Person

The Capital Wine School will host an in-person WSET Level 1 Award in Sake course on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:00am–4:15pm, designed as an ideal entry point for novice sake enthusiasts and professionals working with sake. Priced at $395, the course includes guided instruction and sake tastings, a printed WSET Level 1 Sake workbook, the in-person exam, and a digital certificate and badge for those who pass. Led by Caroline Hermann, students will explore the main styles and types of sake through sight, smell, and taste, gaining foundational knowledge of production, storage, service, and the key factors that influence flavor and aroma. The day concludes with a 45-minute, 30-question multiple-choice exam; successful candidates earn the WSET Level 1 Award in Sake.
