CARPENTER’S COOK-OFF 2020

The Birchmere, Carpenter’s Shelter will host an afternoon of food and fun—all in the name of ending homelessness in Alexandria. Although the afternoon’s events will primarily focus on a friendly competition among 20 top-rated local restaurants, it will also feature a special presentation of the Val Hawkins Award to recipient Peter Lunt. During the event, you will sample the dishes and vote for the People’s and Kid’s Choice awards while a panel of expert judges determines the winners of a Sweet and a Savory award. Throughout the event, there will be live music performed by the Jones Point Band, live and silent auctions, raffle prizes, and a special Children’s Corner. Carpenter’s Cook-Off 2020 ticket prices are $50 for adults, and $20 for children ages 12 and under. The event is from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. For tickets and more information please click here.
