Chess Lounge - Grandparents & Seniors Day

Westfield Montgomery is celebrating Maryland’s Tax Free Week (August 10–16) with a series of fun, free, and family-friendly back-to-school events. Kicking things off is the return of the popular Chess Lounge on Saturday, August 9, from 12–5 PM, featuring a special Grandparents & Seniors Day. Guests are encouraged to bring their grandparents and senior friends for open play, with free prize drawings held every half hour. The Chess Lounge is presented by the Chess Alliance, a collaboration of regional nonprofits including Chess Girls DC, the DC Chess Association, Big Chair Chess Club, and LiveChess Club.
