The DC Brewers’ Guild is back with the second annual Real-ly Local Ale Invitational, a no-holds-barred showdown celebrating the art of Real Ale brewing. On Saturday, October 25, from 1–5 PM, this event gathers over a dozen of the region’s favorite local breweries, each crafting a limited-edition Real Ale exclusively for the festival.
Guests will sip their way through unlimited Real Ale pours before casting their votes to crown the winning brew. Along the way, they can enjoy bites from guest food trucks, giant pretzels, and live music. Attendees will also find beer trivia, behind-the-scenes brewing insights, free coaster crafting, and plenty of games to keep the afternoon lively.

What is Real Ale?
Real Ale is crafted from traditional ingredients, matured by secondary fermentation in its container (such as a cask), and dispensed without extraneous carbon dioxide. This event exclusively showcases DMV-brewed Real Ales.
