DragTails Rooftop Happy Hour

Sit back, strap on some high heels, and sip on a selection of libations at Top of the Gate for a night full of glitter, glamour, stars – and the moon!  DC Drag Queen legend Bombalicious Eklaver and her crew will make their debut at The Watergate Hotel’s renowned rooftop bar and lounge for DragTails Happy Hour! In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, this “Out of This World” event will be filled with tunes from David Bowie and his glam alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, that will make everyone “floatin’ in the most peculiar way...” The two-hour intergalactic bash includes two cocktails per ticketed guest, featuring a superior selection of Top of the Gate Premier Cocktails, Classic Cocktails, and the Moonwalker Cocktail - a retro riff on the quintessential astronaut-adored drink mix, Tang, made with Solerno Blood Orange Liquor, Aperol Aperitivo, freshly squeezed Orange Juice, Moët Ice Imperial, and of course, a pinch of Tang, both in the drink, and circling the edge of the rim. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. $55.
