Lake Buddies at Chevy Chase Lake - FREE interactive programming for children of all ages

Lake Buddies, held on the second Saturday of each month from June through September, offers free interactive programming for children of all ages. The activities include STEAM projects, live music, family Pilates, dance classes, crafts, story time, and face painting. Rock Creek Dance Academy, a returning favorite from the Chevy Chase Lake Holiday Jingle Jubilee, leads dance sessions throughout the series, which concludes with a performance by Rocknoceros, a nationally recognized children’s band. The August event features a book reading by Clarissa Shepherd, author of Sage Does Pilates, one of the first children’s fitness books to feature a BIPOC main character.
