Meet the Winemaker: Clementine Carter at Cheesetique

On Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 PM, Cheesetique Del Ray’s Wine Library will host a special “Meet the Winemaker” evening featuring Sonja Magdevski, founder, owner, and winemaker of Clementine Carter Wines. Known for her dynamic personality and captivating storytelling, Sonja is celebrated as one of the most admired winemakers by event curator Jill. The event offers guests the rare opportunity to connect with this winemaking icon and enjoy a curated tasting of five wines paired with five small bites. Featured wines include the highly rated Clementine Carter Grenache Blanc 2023 (90 pts), Grenache Rosé 2023 (90 pts), Mourvèdre 2021 (93 pts), Santa Rita Hills Grenache 2022 (94 pts), and the Feminist Party Grenache/Syrah/Mourvèdre 2022 (92 pts). Tickets are $45 per person and include all wine and food. Preorder is required by May 19, with pickup available. Guests must be 21 or older to attend this formal, seated event.
