National Kiss Under the National Mistletoe

The DowntownDC BID invites the public to take part in a history-making holiday celebration at National Kiss Under the National Mistletoe on Saturday, December 13th, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Anthem Row. This free, open-to-the-public event brings hundreds of couples together in an attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most couples kissing under the mistletoe.

Suspended 30 feet in the air, the ten-foot-wide National Mistletoe—adorned with greenery, ribbon, and a signature jingle bell—will serve as the dramatic centerpiece for the record-setting moment. Guests can enjoy live music by the Ellington Carthan Quartet featuring Valentina Maria, as well as food and drinks available for purchase from City Tap House and Root & Vine. Additional activities include photo booths, live art, and festive entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Attendance is free, but registration on Eventbrite is required to secure a spot under the mistletoe.
