Peace Park 2025: An Occasional Marketplace of Hope

Peace Park, an occasional marketplace of hope, brings together the community each Sunday in September from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Takoma Gazebo Park. This mutual aid hub and community market features local support groups, vendors, children’s activities, and more.

Participating groups include the Montgomery County Immigrant Rights Collective, Silver Spring-Takoma Park Mutual Aid, Small Things Matter, Local Maternity Thread, DC Abortion Fund, and Remora House.

Vendors will feature Nuthatch Gardens with fresh flower bouquets, First Light Coffee, Fedwell by Farm to Feast with pantry goods, Archway Pet, and many others. Families can also enjoy bubbles, sidewalk chalk, games, and other surprises.

Peace Park is a space for mutual support, built by neighbors who believe resilience comes from connection, trust, and shared resources.
