SOLD OUT: Paella Cooking Class & Wine Tasting At Home

When:
April 17,2021 – April 17,2021 all-day
Where:
Xiquet by DL & Argyle Winery
Virtual Event

Paella, meaning “frying pan” in Valencian, takes its name from the wide shallow traditional pan used to cook the dish on an open fire. Spain’s famed rice dish has become an ever-evolving creation, but the basics remain consistent - sofrito, stock, rice, and saffron. Xiquet’s seafood paella uses a sofrito of sweet paprika, garlic, and tomato, a house made seafood stock, and bomba rice. The paella is to be cooked with restaurant sourced and prepared prawn, cuttlefish and dorade, all in the comforts of your own kitchen. Join chef and sommelier Danny Lledo, the most awarded paella chef in America and owner of Xiquet DL, a Valencian fine dining restaurant, and Slate Wine Bar, on a journey of taste and experiences. This virtual event will feature a paella cooking lesson from chef Danny, with wine pairing from Argyle Winery, all from the comfort of your own home. Your wine and paella meal kit will be shipped separately. The Zoom link will be provided to you one hour prior to the event. Starting at $190. 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. For more information or to sign up for this virtual class, please click here.
