SOVEREIGN SOCIAL POP UP BOUTIQUE: RECIPES FOR RESILIENCE

This March, The Line DC is joining forces with womxn we admire, and womxn who make our city strong. Recipes for Resilience, a community cookbook project launching this month, joins forces with Sovereign Social for an afternoon of womxn makers and doers.  Meet in Full Service Radio on for an afternoon pop-up shop featuring the Recipes For Resilience community cookbook as well as artwork, handmade goods, and high-vibrational aromatherapy products made by womxn. Recipes for Resilience is a community project at the intersection of cuisine, culture, and civic engagement. The project will take you on a fantastic food journey, rich with traditions of the homes, refugee, and migrant women living in the National Capital Region left behind. It includes their stories, tips on how to be an immigrant ally, and illustrations by local women artists. The event is from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information please click here.
