Held within Centrolina’s intimate Chef’s Salon, Stela is Chef Amy Brandwein’s ongoing monthly tasting series — an 8-course dinner experience rooted in her philosophy that “simple is exquisite.” Each menu evolves around a singular concept, ingredient perspective, or seasonal moment, interpreted through Amy’s distinctly refined yet deeply personal style of cooking.
This dinner, titled “Under the Blossoms,” explores an Italian interpretation of Hanami, the Japanese tradition of gathering beneath blooming flowers to appreciate the fleeting beauty of the season. The menu reflects themes of renewal, delicacy, impermanence, and spring’s brief abundance, balancing Japanese restraint and precision with the warmth and directness of Italian cuisine.
