The Town of Middleburg invites residents and visitors to enjoy a full lineup of festive events happening throughout the summer season. From live music and fireworks to family-friendly activities and community markets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in historic Middleburg.
Event Highlights Include:
NSLM Open Late | June 27, July 25 & August 22
The National Sporting Library & Museum hosts its summer Open Late series with live music and delicious concessions. Concerts and museum admission are free from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (102 The Plains Rd.). Wine and beer vendors will be on-site; picnics welcome (no glass or outside alcohol permitted).
Middleburg Independence Day Celebration | July 4
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. at the Middleburg Community Center (300 W. Washington St.) with free swim, face painting, music, and food trucks. The Kids’ Parade starts at 5:45 p.m., followed by live music, food vendors, and family fun at Middleburg Community Charter School (101 N. Madison St.). Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m.
Reading of the Declaration of Independence | July 4, 4 p.m.
The Middleburg Museum (12 N. Madison St.) hosts a special reading of the Declaration of Independence.
19th Annual Middleburg Summer Sidewalk Sale | August 1–3
Stroll through town for the annual Summer Sidewalk Sale with great deals at participating shops and restaurants. Look for balloons marking participating businesses.
Middleburg Community Farmers Market | Saturdays through October 25
Held weekly from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the market features local produce, seafood, baked goods, honey, flowers, and more, with food trucks and live music onsite (Corner of S. Madison St. & W. Marshall St.). Dogs on a leash are welcome.
